Xiaoyu Fan serves as a Research Analyst of WRI China Food and Natural Resources Program, assisting with work related to sustainable food system transformation.

Before joining WRI, Xiaoyu worked for China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and was mainly responsible for food and agriculture related projects. She also provided support for mobilizing Chinese businesses to align with the UN SDGs by building up multi-stakeholder partnerships and increasing Chinese businesses engagement in projects related to sustainable food and land systems transformation, biodiversity conservation and climate actions.

Xiaoyu graduated from Newcastle University with a master’s degree in Translating and Interpreting (CH-EN).
