Ke Chen is the Transport Research Analyst at WRI China Sustainable Cities Program. She works to promote zero-emission mobility in China, and ensure it is accessible to all. Her research focus is on the policy solutions, techno-economic feasibility, and social dynamics of zero-emission vehicle transition.

Prior to joining WRI, Ke worked at a zero-emission vehicle consulting firm, where she conducted research on policies, technologies, supply chain, and business models related to battery electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles.

Ke holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is dedicated to supporting sustainable transport solutions that effectively balance environmental sustainability and developmental needs.
