WRI China focuses on both climate mitigation and adaptation in parallel, contributing to achieving carbon emission peaking as early as possible, realizing China’s long-term climate resilience, as well as the vision of an inclusive and just transition towards carbon neutrality.

    About Us

As China fully integrates climate change response into its overall national economic and social development strategy, green development has become the core tone of China's high-quality economic development. Through objective and rigorous research and efficient multi-party dialogue, we adhere to the "two-pronged approach" of climate mitigation and climate adaptation, actively promote domestic and foreign exchanges, carry out close cooperation with domestic and foreign government departments, research institutions and enterprises, and provide pioneers and decision-makers in various fields It provides scientific and effective suggestions for setting goals and implementing actions, providing important support for the early realization of carbon peak, long-term climate resilience, and an inclusive and equitable carbon neutral vision.
