Liu Fengwei serves as the Director of the Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU) China Program at the Beijing Office Food and Natural Resources, responsible for the overall management of FOLU's strategy in China. She is committed to a sustainable transformation of the food system by creating platforms that promote the sustainability, equity, and resilience of China's food and land use systems, thus bringing positive changes to human and the planet.

Fengwei has extensive experience in conservation and development project. Before joining the WRI, she worked as the Director of the Greening the Belt and Road Initiative at WWF, Country Director of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation's Ethiopia country office, and worked at organizations like the World Food Programme. She has worked and lived in Ethiopia and Myanmar for over five years.
