SU Ting is the Research Associate for WRI China Sustainable Investment Program. Her research remit covers green finance, sustainable investment and various issues related to leveraging financial tools to support just transition towards a net-zero society.

Ting was the program manager of China Prosperity Fund Financial Services Program and facilitated China-UK’s collaboration through various projects related to financial policies, including financial stability, pensions, insurance, fintech and financial inclusion. She was also the Financial Policy Advisor for the British Embassy Beijing and provided in-depth insights on China’s financial policies and market landscape for overseas readers. Prior to that, she was a researcher of International Institute for Sustainable Development and focused on green finance issues, especially on green bond. She also worked shortly in private equity sector to promote sustainable investment before joining WRI.      

Ting holds M.Sc. degree in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (concentrating on development finance) and B.A. degree in Economics from China Foreign Affairs University. She also received training from FinTech & Regulatory Innovation program at Judge Business School, Cambridge University. She is a PRINCE2® practitioner for project management.
