China has announced its new climate pledges to peak CO2 emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, which marks China’s determination to enhance its climate actions together with the world. The Yangtze River Delta, as one of the economic engines of China, has great potential to lead and advance China’s new pledges. Meanwhile, the Nordic countries are keeping engaging partners across the world to support the transition to climate neutrality by mid-century.

In this context and ahead of COP26,World Resources Institute (WRI)  will hold the International Forum on Accelerating Carbon Neutrality in the Yangtze River Delta Region on June 10, 2021 in Shanghai, which aims to bring together Nordic countries and the Yangtze River Delta region to learn from each other. You are cordially invited to join us.
