Daiyang Zhang is a Research Analyst at Climate Program, Sustainable Transition Center, WRI China. Her work mainly covers industrial transition and just transition in the Yangtze River Delta Region. Specifically, she works on projects regarding energy economics model under dual carbon target, carbon footprint and carbon labelling for key industries, and socio-economic impacts of low-carbon transition. She also closely follows international climate actions, policy progress and US-China Track II dialogues.

Previously, she worked at WRI DC office, responsible for data visualization, digital communications and climate communications research. She also had experience working in major news agencies such as Caijing, China Business News and China News Week covering environmental issues.

Daiyang holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from Fudan University, and a Master's degree in Communications, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University. She lives in Beijing with her family.
