Lu Lu (Lu) is a Research Associate of WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities in China. She focuses on policy analysis and on-the-ground projects in the fields of climate-resilient infrastructure, urban and community climate-smart transformation, and climate risk assessment. She has participated in the WRI-China MOT Transit Metropolis Program, promoting sustainable and innovative transportation planning in Suzhou, Zhuzhou, Guiyang, Kunming, and many other cities in China.
Prior to WRI, Lu worked for a government-affiliated transportation institution in Beijing, researching travel demand management policies, traffic emission modeling, and traffic impact analysis.
Lu holds an M.A. in regional and urban planning from the University of California, Los Angeles.
